YMI has a mission to empower young Christian leaders to continually live and share their faith in the global communities they serve. Current research has shown the great need for empowering young people to share their faith and lead in their local church! The latest Pew Research Center study shows that 64% of young Christians rarely or never have spiritual conversations, while only 5% often engage in such discussions. In addition, Barna’s most recent study shows that out of young people aged 15-35, only 9% feel like they are a leader in their faith community. Together, we have an opportunity to change the statistics. Will you join in this BIG opportunity of empowering young Christian leaders?

Our generous partners are pledging $22,500 toward training young Christians to share their faith and lead within their local church. When you join in raising another $22,500 by December 31st, there will be $45,000 to effectively train young people within churches around the United States and across the globe!  

That means your year-end gift will be doubled!

Last year YMI trained nearly 3,500 young people to share their faith. James is one of those young people. YMI was a part of equipping, training, and mobilizing the entire church for a local sports camp outreach. The YMI coaches encouraged James to step up and share a Bible story and his faith in Christ in front of the entire camp of 400 kids and parents. While evaluating the experience, James expressed a desire to serve in his church on a more regular basis and spoke with the church leadership directly after camp about how he could serve. This is what we are pushing for -- more students like James leading in their local church!

Our 2020 year-end goal is $45,000. This will allow 3,500 students to be trained.
