Peru, with its diverse regions—the coast, mountains, and jungle—is a country full of beauty and opportunity for ministry. Base Peru, led by Julio Serrano, has been successfully reaching and training churches and individuals in these areas for over 30 years. Through training in basic theology, missions, and sports ministry, Base Peru is equipping leaders across the nation.

Our STRATEgy

The Jungle

Strategically located to reach other villiages with the gospel, the Irimía region has been a main focus for Base Peru since 2017. Providing training in mission work, theology, and church planting, Base Peru is working hard to see the Shapibo-Conibo people become a mission force that will transform the region.

The Mountains

In the middle of the Andes exists the heart of Peruvian culture. Base Peru supports churches even in the most remote areas, providing practical theology and evangelism training for churches to transform their communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Coast

Over 50% of Peru’s population lives in the coastal plains. Base Peru is working with different denominations to mobilize the Peruvian church to take seriously their role in the Great Commission. The vision is for one day to see churches from Peru, be sent as missionaries to all of South America.
