The day after the training, we took 17 of the students and leaders 30 minutes up the river via boat to a remote village to do outreach. This team of people shared the gospel with almost all 300 residents of the village.

"At first I didn't see why we had to do the team building exercises, but now that I did the ministry, it totally makes sense!"

He was facing his worst fear – or perhaps worse, had his back to it. He wanted only to give up, to find and accept any reason which would excuse him from the fall. 

When Toby arrived at the gravesite, his grandpa handed him a lightbulb and said, “You know what to do with this.”

The next day, when the team was working at a school, one of the kids approached me saying, “Hey, Miss! I shared the Gospel with my friend doing the tearing cross!”

Pure joy and celebration shot through everyone at that training. I could hear the girls in their room as they got ready for bed afterward chatting and laughing. None of us could stop smiling as we celebrated with Hope what she had overcome.
