It used to be that Western Europe sent as many missionaries as the US. In some ways this is one region that has moved from less of a missiond force to more of a mission field. However, there are still many ministries that are focused on developing leaders to turn this around and once again become a region that sends people and brings back the mission force it once was.

In Portugal we work alongside a partner that runs a camp which focuses on exactly that. The partnership looks like people helping to be counselors and guiding youth towards becoming more active in their faith while teaching English and sports.
