Mariana Tilley

I am proud to say that this summer, I will have the opportunity to reach hundreds of kids with the gospel of Christ. I will be accompanying Base Sports, while traveling to different churches, and using sports camps as a way to reach children of many different backgrounds. Did you know, this past year, around 50 million kids were involved in Sports Camps? With the help of other great leaders at Base Sports, I will be able to use sports camp as a way to connect, pray, sing, dance, laugh, and spread the gospel with all children that are able to attend :) !!

My role with Base Sports will be coaching soccer at sports camps. Many of the children who will be attending do not know Christ yet, or come from families who don’t talk about God very often. I’ll be on a team of four other college-age athletes and I'll travel from WA to CA partnering with churches to run successful sports camps from June 15-July 1.  A huge part of what we will be doing is sharing the gospel and God’s word! 

This summer’s theme is Rock Solid! We’ll teach kids how we can be Rock Solid with Jesus. However, in order for this summer to be possible, I need to gather up a team of support. I would like for you to be a part of my support team, as I continue on my journey.

My financial need is $400 to help with the expense for this mission project. It would also make my heart full if you would consider me in your prayers. Specifically, prayers for the right words, in order to make sense to and reach the mind of each child, and prayers that I may be a christ-like role model for any child I come across. If you’re able to help financially and/or carry me in your prayers, I thank you genuinely for your generosity and thoughtfulness.

I will keep you up to date with the progress and success of my missionary efforts!! All funds I raise are used at the discretion of Base Sports and for the expenses of the entire team.

My deadline for raising my full support is July 1. As I mentioned before, it would also be so helpful if you were able to pray for me and my team. Please pray for my preparation these weeks. Once I begin, this summer, I ask that you pray for travel safety, as well as the churches, and kids we will be working with. Thank you again for any contribution you are able to make.
